I agree. Secrets that might endanger our troops around the world should be protected, but I suspect those kinds of military secrets ARE protected. The diplomatic cables are just day-to-day embassy business, a lot of it just diplomatic gossip. They just want to hide all government business from the people (us).

: In the midst of all the National Inquirer type revelations to be found in the leaks the real issue is being overlooked: what aspects of government business should be secret They are using the usual ploy of national security in order to hide what they are really doing.
