I haven't commented on this forum before but the discussion about how presidents stack the supreme court always reminds me that Bush DID NOT win the election. Nationwide, Gore won by 543,895 votes. It was only the absolutely ridiculous electoral college that declared Bush the winner. Created to tip the election balance toward the slave states, the electoral college is an absurd way to choose a president. The candidate that wins the most votes should be the president. Wake up everybody. We need to get rid of the stupid, absurd, and unfair electoral college NOW!
