I agree, a good list this year. But I don't think Coetzee will win it again. First off, Coetzee's is a novelized memoir. Would they give it to part of a multi-part memoir? No, the award has to go to Hilary Mantel for her post-modern novel, Wolf Hall. It starts out horrific, then turns adventurous, then poignant. It's a brilliant novel about how humans are and deserves to win over the usual suspects.
: Just saw this year's list of booker nominees at this site. Impressive group. Don't have a clue who will win. Maybe Coetzee.
