No, I just checked the internet (the source of all reality) and the world did not end. At least according to the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/22/us/22doomsday.html?partner=rss&emc=rss).
Good thing. I just filled up my car with gas. At $4.19 a gallon I'd be pretty upset if the world ended before I could use it up.
