: You are right. Trump, a showman with years of experience in the entertainment business, has figured out how to tap into people's baser motives. You can see he's energized by it. He's playing the hate card more and more just because that's what works. He probably doesn't really care all that much about Muslims or immigrants, but he'll go with whatever bumps him up in the polls. All he cares about is winning.
You can tell he’s having a ball. He basking in the limelight, as he always has.
