Good point. But maybe the important point is that Russia is not worried about US intervention with regard to the Ukraine because the US is still totally tied up with the absurd tar baby known as the Afghanistan War (the longest war in US history). Speaking of that, how the hell were we so stupid as to get involved in Afghanistan in the first place? Didn't Russia's failure in Afghanistan teach us anything? Oh, I forgot, that invasion was to keep Bush from being impeached over his 911 failures.
