Right, and here's another good thing: people are revealing their REAL feelings about government secrecy. We now know how (possible future President) Mrs. Clinton feels about it (these leaks tears at fabric of our country), and we now know Sarah Palin would make sure ALL government activity stays hidden from the people (she says leaks are treason and that she would not have allowed it).
By the way, this weekend Palin dropped even more hints that she wants to be President. Now wouldn't that be something. (See what I mean, we are finding out how "important" people really feel about how our country should be run.)
: As I'd hoped, there is a major upside to what Wikileaks has done. As news agencies go over the leaked material we are learning more about how our government operates and important issues that SHOULD HAVE BEEN discussed by the people are being discussed.
: : Wikileaks just released information about US State Department discussions on the world situation.
: : And how did Obama respond? Exactly like Bush responded to similar leaks. The Obama administration said they would investigate the leaks and that such disclosures will not be tolerated.
: : But why? There was nothing about national security in the leaked information. It was just that is was potentially embarrassing.
: : Apparently the Obama administration agrees with the Bush administration that our government should have the right to keep how it operates secret. Apparently, now politicians take it for granted that the people Do NOT have a right to know.
