Very sad to see this. I had hoped Obama would reverse Bush's outrageous policy of government secrecy. Such things SHOULD be public because they need to be discussed and debated. That is how a democracy is supposed to work.

There was another scary thing in that article you referenced. It said that when the government found out WikiLeaks was going to post the documents, their web site was hit by a cyberattack that made the site inaccessible. Coincidence?

: And how did Obama respond? Exactly like Bush responded to similar leaks. The Obama administration said they would investigate the leaks and that such disclosures will not be tolerated.

: But why? There was nothing about national security in the leaked information. It was just that is was potentially embarrassing.

: Apparently the Obama administration agrees with the Bush administration that our government should have the right to keep how it operates secret. Apparently, now politicians take it for granted that the people Do NOT have a right to know.
