: I am looking for the title of a book that I read years ago. The two main characters were brothers, both sons of a WWI aviator. One ends up flying for the RAF, the other for the Luftwaffe.
: The book opens up as a narrative, focused on a stuffed bear found in England, as a former RAF crash boat rescue station.
: The pilot in the RAF falls in love with a British physician but is exceedingly fatalistic. I believe he ends up flying missions for the SOE (Special Operations Executive).
